Dinosaurs: How we make our Dinosaurs

How do we make our dinosaurs?

1. We start by creating a 3D model, using the latest scientific data and by referencing images of dinosaur skeletons.

2. Next, we add some colour by applying a texture map. We take inspiration for our textures from modern day reptiles and birds.

3. Once we have our texture, we apply a bump map. In 3D modeling, a bump map is used to create the illusion of depth and texture on the surface of a 3D model. We use the bump map to add extra detail, such as scales and skin folds.

4. Once both the texture map and bump map have been applied, we can create our first render.

5. Finally, we use a combination of stock photos and AI (Artficial Intelligence) to improve the overall look of the image.
